Shorewood, IL became home to the newest Pizza Ranch in the well-known Midwest restaurant chain. Franchisee Govind Patel is eager to bring the Pizza Ranch brand to the community, and provide a faith and family-focused restaurant that offers a full buffet, carryout, and delivery, as well as a FunZone Arcade featuring interactive games for all ages.
Govind first encountered the Pizza Ranch brand in Peoria, IL and became close with the owner of that location. He became a fan of the brand and truly embraced the culture. Govind will be opening the Shorewood location under the management of Brenda Villegas. Villegas has over 10 years of experience in food service management and has worked in top performing restaurants in the Chicago area. “We are so excited to create a place where people gather for fun and great food. We are eager to begin serving our community,” Govind stated.
Training for the new Pizza Ranch crew began on July 8, and the team got their first chance to serve the Shorewood community with their soft openings July 13 & 14. The Shorewood team selected all proceeds raised from their soft opening to benefit Guardian Angel Community Services. This organization works to help provide shelter, clothing, and food for women and children in need. Guardian Angel Community Services has been in operation since the late 1800’s.
The Shorewood Pizza Ranch opened at 11:00am on Monday, July 17.
