Even 35 years after creating the original recipes that first graced our menu, you can still find Pizza Ranch founder Adrie Groeneweg at work in the Pizza Ranch test kitchen with our experienced culinary expert, Chef Sean Landrum. Together, they’re in constant pursuit of the perfect combinations of flavors and spices, enhancing current favorites and adding fresh new menu items (like trendy salads and mouthwatering limited-time pizzas) to our growing list of Pizza Ranch classics. They’re a top-notch team focused on keeping the menu fresh and interesting while staying true to the savory, home-style flavors our guests expect.
Before being introduced chain-wide, every cravable recipe and product enhancement is test-driven and refined in our in-house Restaurant Support Center. In a live ‘pilot-kitchen’, the culinary team works to ensure the recipe is operationally friendly for Pizza Ranch’s fast-paced restaurant environment. All the while, representatives from our procurement, training, marketing and food safety departments provide insights, making considerations like supply chain and potential economies essential to the food-creation process. The entire combined team ensures speed, quality, consistency and cost control all complement the legendary flavors for which Pizza Ranch is known.
