Cambridge, Minnesota became home to the newest Pizza Ranch over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Franchisees Daniel & Suzanne Michaels were eager to bring the Pizza Ranch brand to their community and provide a faith and family-focused restaurant that offers a full buffet, carryout and delivery, as well as a FunZone Arcade featuring interactive games for all ages. The new doors opened on Monday, July 3, 2023
The Michaels have years of experience in business ownership, leadership, and management. They are managing the Cambridge restaurant and arcade as a team and are also excited to begin this new venture as a family. In addition to Daniel & Suzanne managing the location, two of their children are working at the location part-time. “We have always been a family that spends time together,” Daniel remarked, “This opportunity will hopefully allow us to teach our kids a work ethic for life and spend more time together.”
Training for the new Pizza Ranch crew began on June 24, and the team got their first chance to serve the Cambridge community with their soft openings the on June 29 & 30. Pizza Ranch has a great tradition of donating proceeds from their soft openings to a local charity. The Michaels chose to partner with Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, which is an organization that works to support Isanti County’s military service members, veterans, and their families. Their goal is to establish an Isanti county-wide deployment cycle support program that provides information, services, referral, and proactive outreach opportunities for service members and their families throughout the entire deployment cycle, before, during, and after deployment. The team was able to raise $2,700 for the organization.
