Pizza Ranch Inc. is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in December. One of the most recognizable and awarded pizza chains in the Midwest began its legendary journey in a very humble way.
With the support of his parents and recipes tested in their kitchen, Adrie Groeneweg opened the first Pizza Ranch on December 21, 1981 in Hull, IA. From that one location and those original made-from-scratch recipes, Pizza Ranch has grown throughout the upper Midwest and beyond.
“When we opened the first Pizza Ranch, I just wanted to provide great pizza to the people of my hometown,” says Pizza Ranch CEO & Founder Adrie Groeneweg. “To now have over 200 locations in 15 states is a testament to four decades of faith, hard work and doing things the right way.
